Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By installing the GSC Dojo Chrome extension, connecting your accounts to the GSC Dojo web tool, installing the GSC Dojo HubSpot app, or using any other GSC Dojo product or service (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "you") and GSC Dojo ("GSC Dojo", "we", "us", "our").

2. Products & Services

GSC Dojo currently offers the following products, all governed by these Terms:

• Chrome Extension: A browser extension that overlays Google Search Console, providing advanced filtering, bulk exports, opportunity detection, and related features.
• Web Tool: A web application at gscdojo.com that connects to Google Search Console via OAuth to provide analysis and reporting without requiring extension installation.
• HubSpot App: A HubSpot CRM integration that surfaces GSC performance data within HubSpot portals and optionally syncs data to HubSpot Custom Objects.

3. Accounts & Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of legal majority in your jurisdiction) to use the Services.
• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account or granting OAuth access.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and any connected Google or HubSpot accounts.
• You may not share your account or subscription with others unless explicitly permitted in writing.
• You must have the legal right to access the Google Search Console properties and HubSpot portals you connect to GSC Dojo.

4. Subscriptions & Billing

4.1 Subscriptions

• Some Services are offered on a subscription basis. Current pricing is shown on the gscdojo.com website.
• Billing is handled by Stripe. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis.
• Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled.
• To cancel, you may do so from your account settings or by contacting us. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period — you retain access until then.
• We do not offer refunds for partial periods, except where required by applicable law.

4.2 Price Changes

We will give at least 30 days' notice before changing subscription pricing. Continued use after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance.

5. Free Trial

The Chrome extension offers a 7-day free trial with no credit card required. At the end of the trial, you will need to subscribe to continue using paid features. We reserve the right to limit free trials to one per person.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Services to:

• Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
• Access Google Search Console or HubSpot data you are not authorised to access.
• Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any authentication, rate limiting, or access controls.
• Scrape, copy, or systematically extract data from the Services for purposes other than your own SEO analysis.
• Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the extension or any server-side component.
• Attempt to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of our systems.
• Transmit any malware, viruses, or otherwise harmful code.
• Use the Services in any way that imposes an unreasonable or disproportionate load on our infrastructure.
• Resell or sublicense access to the Services without our prior written consent.

7. Google API & Search Console Terms

GSC Dojo uses Google APIs to access your Google Search Console data. By using GSC Dojo, you also agree to be bound by:

• Google Terms of Service
• Google APIs Terms of Service

GSC Dojo's use of Google API data is governed by the Google API Services User Data Policy. We do not use your Google data for any purpose beyond operating the product for you.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of your Google Search Console account complies with Google's own terms. GSC Dojo is not responsible for any actions Google may take on your account.

8. HubSpot App Terms

The GSC Dojo HubSpot app is listed in the HubSpot App Marketplace and is subject to HubSpot's terms. By installing the app, you also agree to HubSpot's Terms of Service.

The HubSpot app accesses your HubSpot portal data solely to:

• Render GSC performance data within CRM card views.
• Create and update HubSpot Custom Objects with your GSC data (if you enable this feature).

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the HubSpot app complies with HubSpot's terms and any applicable privacy or data regulations in your jurisdiction.

Data written to HubSpot Custom Objects (e.g., historical GSC metrics) is stored in your own HubSpot portal and is subject to your HubSpot data retention and deletion policies.

9. Chrome Extension

The GSC Dojo Chrome extension operates within Google Chrome and compatible Chromium-based browsers. By installing and using the extension, you agree that:

• The extension reads data displayed on google.com/webmasters and related Google Search Console pages you are actively viewing.
• The extension communicates with GSC Dojo's servers to authenticate your subscription, process exports, and provide enhanced features.
• You will not attempt to modify, patch, redistribute, or resell the extension without our written consent.
• The extension is provided under a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence for your personal or business use only.

10. Intellectual Property

All intellectual property in the GSC Dojo products — including but not limited to the extension code, web application, HubSpot app, design, trademarks, and branding — is owned by GSC Dojo and is protected by applicable copyright and intellectual property law.

Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use our trademarks, logos, or product names without prior written consent.

You retain all ownership of your data, including your GSC data and HubSpot data. Granting us access to your data does not transfer ownership.

11. Your Data

Our collection and use of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. By using the Services, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring you have the right to share any data you provide or connect to the Services, including GSC properties belonging to clients or employers.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that:

• The Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or always available.
• Data retrieved from Google Search Console via the Services will always be accurate or complete (Google's API is the authoritative source).
• The Services will be compatible with all browsers, operating systems, or HubSpot versions at all times.

GSC Dojo is not affiliated with Google LLC. "Google Search Console" and "Google" are trademarks of Google LLC. Use of these names is for descriptive purposes only.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless GSC Dojo and its operator from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or in connection with: (a) your use of the Services in violation of these Terms; (b) your violation of any third-party right, including any intellectual property or privacy right; or (c) any claim that your data or content caused damage to a third party.

14. Termination

14.1 Termination by You

You may stop using the Services at any time. To cancel a paid subscription, cancel from your account or contact us before your next billing date. To delete your account, use our contact form.

14.2 Termination by Us

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately and without notice if you:

• Violate these Terms or our acceptable use policy.
• Engage in fraudulent, abusive, or illegal activity.
• Fail to pay applicable subscription fees.

We may also discontinue the Services entirely with 30 days' notice to active subscribers. In such a case, we will provide a pro-rata refund for any unused paid period.

14.3 Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. Sections 10, 12, 13, and 16 survive termination.

15. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify active subscribers by email at least 14 days in advance of the changes taking effect. Your continued use of the Services after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

The most current version of these Terms will always be available at gscdojo.com/terms-of-service.html.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

If you are a consumer in the European Union, you may also have rights under the consumer protection laws of your country of residence.
